As for layout, if you go into Layout page of your blog...it should be set up with a "Add and Arrange Page Elements". You just "add a gadget". Choose "HTML" and then cut and paste the script of the layout that you like. I think blogger had changed some of their language since she posted instructions. Make sure you save changes. Let me know if that works. THat is all I had to do.
