Out of the Mouth of Babes

This past weekend, Ryan was disciplined with soap in his mouth. Of course, he cried. As he cried he told me that he had swallowed some soap. I said, "OK." And then

he said

"the soap is going to my heart."

I told him that it wasn't and

he said

"it is and the soap is going to wash Jesus away from my heart."

He is crying harder as he is telling me this....thinking that it must be true.

Of course, I told him that Jesus will always be there.....no amount of soap will wash him away.

Then he went on to tell me that God would not like me putting soap in his mouth.

One day soon I'm going to post about Ryan's fear of fibs. All due to Veggie Tale's Larry Boy and the Fib from Outer Space.

4A

This is a video I have from November 2007. I was in the hospital on bedrest before Evan was born. I was very disappointed about not being able to do my normal everyday routine, like taking and picking up Ryan from school. I love the ride home when he tells me all about what he learned that day.

He loves school so much. The video is a cheer that he learned. He visited me in the hospital and sang it for me. Of course, Jack had to do his version.

My Little Helping Hands

Today, the Sunshine boys wanted to know what they could do to help Mommy.

Ryan dusted for Mommy.

and wanting to do everything BIG brother does-Jack said, "but what can I do for you Mommy?"

so Jack emptied the dishwasher.

and as for Evan, he just enjoyed the ride.

We need a Superhero!

We had a situation. Ryan's parachute got stuck in the tree. He says, "Don't worry, I'll use my suction cup ears to rescue him!"

My Workout Partners

Two of my partners fell asleep...only 1 kept up....notice his exercise mat(s). He brought placemats over and he said, "I'm getting my exercise mats."

My Sunshine Cowboys

This is our boys Halloween 2007. I love this video. I cry at the thought of them growing up. Ryan is 4 and Jack is 28 months in this video.

Jack can count to 11

This was actually taken in January but I couldn't figure out how to post a video. He is 2 1/2 in this video.
